Still Plugging Away…

Thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in the 60 Second University.  I think the finished product will be fantastic and well-worth the $99 (if I do say so myself).  It appears the release date will be sometime in February, but I promise to keep you posted when we are ready to rock and roll!

One of my favorite aspects of the program is the Expert Interviews.  On each day, we’ll have interviews with recognized experts in the different subject areas.  As a student of our program, you’ll be able to download each interview as an MP3.  Listen to it in the car, or on the treadmill, or when you’re walking your dog… whenever is most convenient for you!

Now here is my favorite part… my partner, Jamie Turner graciously handed off the task of conducting these interviews to me.  Some of you may be thinking, “Sucker!!!!”  And maybe I am, but it has been an amazing experience.

Who Would Turn Down This Assignment?

Imagine this scenario: you’re a huge sports fan.  Somebody suggests, “Why don’t you go interview Tim Tebow, Chris Evert, LeBron James, Wayne Gretzky, and David Beckham?”  Forget the fact that it’s probably impossible to reach all of these people… who would say, “Naaah, not feeling it.  Don’t think I’ll do that.”

Or you love music.  You’re told, “We’d love for you to interview Lady Gaga, Jay Z & Beyonce, Madonna, the whole band of Lady Antebellum, and Adam Levine!”  Regardless of how you feel about their music, it’s hard to deny the pull of being given the chance to talk with these folks.

So when Jamie and I made our “wish list” for who we could interview for the 60 Second University, we reached out to big names.  People who could immediately make an impact in our course.  The beauty of social media is that these people were ALL reachable.  No, my mom and my kids probably wouldn’t know who most of these people are, but my husband does… of course, he works in social media!  I am thrilled these fantastic people have agreed to be part of the 60 Second University!

And let me tell you, the interviews are amazing.  So much great content, with advice you can use right away to jump-start your social media campaign.
