About Karen Naide
Born with a natural ability to connect people to one another, Karen is President of Project Social, an online social media management company serving organizations and individuals. With a contagious passion for online networking, Karen oversees social media activities for her clients by creating and maintaining their online profiles, contributing comments on their behalf and ensuring that they are proactively building a positive reputation among their target audiences. Her professional training includes proficiency in using social media tools including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Prior to Project Social, Karen worked as paralegal best known for her meticulous attention to detail and ability to organize large amounts of information.
Karen began her social media career in 2010 by organizing an entire Facebook community for her family’s Disney Mediterranean cruise. This community comprised over 100 families and 150 active discussions, as well as pre-cruise meet-ups in Houston, Atlanta, Barcelona and onboard.
She is also the co-founder of the 60 Second University, along with Jamie Turner. Together, they created the “15 Days to Social Media Success Class.”
She has since worked with a variety of clients, ranging from healthcare professionals to individuals to small and mid-size companies and even a few non-profit organizations. Karen holds a B.A. from Emory University and an M.A. from American University. She resides in Alpharetta, GA with her two children.
