Passionate About Social
How often do you visit a website that combines a love for travel, family and friends, cats, Segways, the University of Georgia Bulldogs, and social media blog posts through the eyes of Buddy the Elf and the Bronx Zoo King Cobra?
Ever since 2010, I’ve been President of Project Social, a social media management company. A talented social media and marketing professional, I have direct experience conceiving, executing and managing diverse social media campaigns for small to enterprise-sized businesses. From developing and launching targeted outreach campaigns to creating, copywriting, curating and managing highly consumer-relevant content across social channels, I’m passionate about collaborating on a tactical level with cross-functional teams to produce social assets that increase long-term engagement.
I’m also the co-founder of the 60 Second University, along with Jamie Turner, principal of Sixty Marketing, frequent guest on CNN and HLN, and author or numerous books. Together, we created the “15 Days to Social Media Success Class,” which educated eager students from 2012-13.
I began my social media career in 2010 by organizing a Facebook community for my family’s Disney Mediterranean cruise. This community comprised over 100 families and 150 active discussions, as well as pre-cruise meet-ups in Houston, Atlanta, Barcelona and even onboard. My professional training includes proficiency in using social media tools to manage platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest.
Prior to Project Social, I worked as paralegal best known for my meticulous attention to detail and ability to organize large amounts of information. I earned a B.A. from Emory University and an M.A. from American University. I reside in Atlanta, Georgia, and have served clients from around the nation.
